It is a museum dedicated to this emblematic conflict in France and worth traveling to relive the history of the Axis and the Allies. It was built in part of an old bunker near Pegasus Bridge and about 15 minutes from the beaches where happened the famous D-Day landings The museum has a library, a playground, a bookstore, cafe and much more and the ceiling hangs a higher Hawker Typhoon of '41 that belonged to the RAF. There are bunkers models from different fields of battle, planes, a memory of the Holocaust and the French resistance and many video presentations.
